Our Unsung Heroes

Stray Feeders

Rain or shine, stray feeders head out to feed the cats and dogs who call the streets their home. After laboring for hours in the kitchen, they then lug these huge bags of carefully packed meals to their feeding grounds. They arrive like clock work, dishing out food and water. After ensuring their bellies are filled, they than proceed to clean up the feeding area. These unsung heroes ensure the survival of the dogs and cats that call the streets their home.

The dogs and cats trust them, they depend on them. Contrary to popular believes, stray feeding does not increase the population of Stray’s but helps control it. Stray feeders enable the Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage (TNRM) programme, a science based and humane method to control the stray population (AVS). These stray feeders play significant role as they are able to identify the number of males/ females in the area

As we continue to rescue more animals for rehoming, we are also determined to support these stray feeders in their unwavering crusade. Purely Adoption supports the stray feeders with 1,250kg of rice every month to feed these rescues, island wide.
