Silver

4 NOVEMBER 2017

Silver, 10yr female is looking for a home. She was found abandoned in Boon Lay. According to fosterer May Ling, she was very hungry on the first night and she ended up feeding her 4 times that evening.

Silver has very bad teeth and we sent her to the vet for check up. True enough, she got 14 teeth extracted but the good new is, the blood test shows she's in good health.

Is she an abandoned dog? Probably. Maybe its the medical bill that is putting the owner off. We have no idea. What we know is we need to help this poor girl.

If you like to help out in her medical bill, you can donate directly to Purely Adoptions UOB Current A/C: 631-302-019-0 Or u can write a cheque to "Purely Adoptions Limited" and post to : PO Box 236, Thomson Rd Post Office S915708.

Silver is gentle, good with other dogs and kids. She seems to be paper trained and can walk on leash. If you like to give her a home, pls contact 90018848 (Purely Adoptions). Pls help to share the post. Thank you.

Some dogs has been waiting for their forever home but it never come. Angel (formerly known as Silver as she seems to respond to Angel than Silver) passed on peacefully at the clinic yesterday after being warded for kidney and liver problem.

Senior Angel was bailed out by May Ling and her hubby Harry when she came across a SPCA post on poor Angel. She contacted us to rehome her. We sent Angel to the vet and had her 14 teeth extracted. Our adopter Vincent and Sharon came forward to foster her. As Angel is a senior dog, it was not easy to find a family who can take care of her. Vincent and Sharon screened through potential adopters carefully and even show potential adopters how to clean her eyes, making sure the potential adopters are ready for the extra work in taking care of her. 15 months past by quickly and Vincent and Sharon never give up on Angel. They gave her the best food and supplements at their own cost during the fostering period. They even brought her for health check last dec and her report shows good results.

Angel's passing is a big shock to the fosterer and rescuer. In the fosterer's heart, she is already one of their dear child. Vice versa, we have no doubts Angel feels the same to her foster parents and rescuers.

If you are looking to have a pet, do consider adopting from the local shelter or any animal welfare groups. There are many dogs & cats out there waiting for their forever home. Some has been waiting for their whole life and it never come.

Run free Angel and do send a message from above to your dear foster daddy Vincent and mummy Sharon. They have been greving since the day you left them. Your sudden departure devastated them.

Thank you Fosterer Vincent & Sharon, Rescuers: May Ling, Harry, Annie and Ken for changing her destiny the moment she was bailed out from SPCA.
