What to Expect

Getting a pet is not all fun and games. If you have not had a dog before, please look through the slideshow to better understand what getting a dog could possibly entail.

Teething of Puppies

Puppies are especially adorable but they can also be a handful. When teething, they can go for furniture, shoes, clothes and even your body parts. Be ready to have to put your things away and correct their behaviour.

Medical Issues/ Conditions

Some of the animals rescued may require feeding/ application of medication and vet visits at Purely Adoption's designated clinics. (All medical fees of foster dogs are borned by Purely Adoption.)

Toilet Accidents

Some rescues are not toilet trained. Others may poop/pee out of fear. Be ready to have to train them and clean up after them.

Destroying of Furniture

The above is an extreme case of destruction but rescues can destroy furnitures and possessions.

Behavioural Issues

Some rescues may bark incessantly or have hostility towards humans.
